Lenny Dacanay is a seasoned business development and private equity leader with over 25 years of experience originating deal flow, building sales strategy, and driving revenue growth across professional services and investment firms. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at E78 Partners, Lenny works with PE-backed companies to maximize EBITDA, manage risk, and improve financial reporting and controls.
Lenny has held senior roles at some of the most respected firms in professional services, including Deloitte and BDO USA, where he led business development across the Midwest for private equity services, middle market tax, and consulting practices. Earlier in his career, he drove corporate finance originations at Arthur Andersen, generating over $2 million in fee revenues and building relationships with business owners and senior executives across multiple industries.
As a Partner at Tightrope Capital Partners, Lenny led deal origination and revenue operations for a lower middle market private investment firm focused on founder-owned businesses — bringing hands-on operator experience to every engagement.
Beyond his professional work, Lenny serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish Illinois and the Special Operators Transition Foundation, reflecting a deep commitment to community and veteran leadership development.
He holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University, a BA in Economics from Fairfield University, and executive education credentials from Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
